Opening of the 13th Burger King restaurant in the Czech Republic

BURGER KING® opened its 13th restaurant in the Czech Republic at one of the most popular and historic places in Prague - the Wenceslas Square. V Consulting was in charge of the communication of the event, the overall organization and media relations.
The event took the customers back to the 50’s, when the first BURGER KING® Restaurant was opened in Jacksonville, Florida. All guests enjoyed the meeting with the famous stars from another time and place - Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley who performed some of the best hits of "The King of Rock & Roll". The biggest fans had the chance to take part in the contest “Be the King of Karaoke” and wan great prizes provided by BURGER KING®.

Special guest of the opening was Mr. Stuart Schaag, The Senior Commercial Officer of the US Embassy in the Czech Republic. Together with the management of BURGER KING®, Mr. Schaag cut the ribbon for the opening and sold symbolically the first items of the brand new restaurant. 

On this special occasion, five Czech crowns from each transaction made in the opening day were donated to the charity organization Charita Česká Republika.
