Opening of THE MALL

The Prime Minister Mr. Boiko Borissov, the CEO of Carrefour Bulgaria, a representative of Assos Capital and the Ambassador of the Republic of France Etienne de Poncins cut the ribbon of the biggest retail center in Bulgaria – THE MALL. Official guests of the opening ceremony were the Mayor of Sofia Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova and the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Mr. Rosen Plevneliev.


Among the official guests of the opening of the shopping mall were representatives of the Bulgarian government, of the diplomatic and business spheres.

In honour of the opening for the first time in Bulgaria were organized daily fireworks and at the end of the festive evening the sky above Sofia was illuminated by a spectacular show with fireworks. The popular duo Morandi greeted the people of Sofia with a great concert – gift to them.

THE MALL is the biggest retail center in Bulgaria. It is situated on three levels – three underground and three on-ground levels. To facilitate the access there was built a special tunnel under Tzarigradsko shousse Blvd. which leads to the underground parking lot. The main goal of the shopping mall is to offer a new lifestyle to a wide range of customers – teenagers and young professionals, couples, families with children and elder people.
